When you love, you open yourself up to hurt more than you would otherwise. Who do you let close enough to hurt you? The ones you love. Everything means a little more when you love someone, so when things go wrong everything hurts a little more too. Bittersweet huh? It makes sense that people would run from something that could potentially cause them heartbreak on a daily basis. Guess you just have to decide if its worth it or not.
